Hever Castle was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, King Henry VIII's second wife. It is located in Kent, in the south-east of England and from 1462 to 1539 Hever Castle was home to the Boleyn family. On the death of Anne's father, Thomas Boleyn, Hever Castle was then owned by King Henry VIII, who bestowed it upon his fourth wife, Anne of Cleves, as part of th settlement from their marriage annulment.
